How do I secure an athlete for an appearance, endorsement, speaking engagement or other event?

Blue Sky will discuss your objective and budget with you and use our expertise in the sports marketing and entertainment industry to find the best individual to represent your group.  We will then negotiate a contract with the athlete or celebrity, which will spell out the details and expectations of both parties.  We are always available to answer your questions and share our knowledge to help you choose the best fit for your marketing event of campaign.

 

Do I need to invest tens of thousands of dollars to utilize sports marketing for my company?

No.  Fees typically run anywhere from $2,500 for a one-time appearance, to over $100,000 for a more complex long-term endorsement.  Blue Sky has clients in every price range and can tailor the athlete or celebrity’s responsibilities in order to get the most value out of your budget.  It is important to take into consideration the travel expenses of the person you wish to secure, as this is usually covered by the company and is in addition to the fee.  Fees vary according to several factors, such as the length of the event, travel time, the type of event (e.g.; public, corporate, charity), and responsibilities (e.g.; keynote speech, autograph signing, skill demonstration).

           

I didn’t see a certain athlete or celebrity on your website, can Blue Sky still get me the person I need?

Yes, absolutely.  Blue Sky has access to thousands of athletes and celebrities as a result of our extensive industry experience.  Please contact us to inquire about individuals not already listed on our website.  Chances are they are in fact a client or we have worked with them in the past.

 

Once we choose an athlete, what will Blue Sky do for me?

With our hands-on approach to relationship management, Blue Sky works with the client to facilitate all aspects of the appearance or endorsement.  Upon request, we will assist with travel arrangements, speaking points and/or secure items to be autographed.  A Blue Sky representative will personally be on-site at every appearance to ensure that the responsibilities of both parties are met and all runs smoothly.

 

What happens if the athlete has to cancel due to an emergency?

In the unfortunate event that a client must cancel an appearance, Blue Sky will work with you to either reschedule the appearance, or use our best efforts to supply a suitable replacement for your event.
