Adriana Leon is a professional soccer forward for West Ham United of the Barclays Women’s Super League.  Leon made her professional debut for the Boston Breakers of the National Women’s Soccer League in 2012.  She went on to have stints with the Chicago Red Stars, Western New York Flash, Sky Blue FC, and the Seattle Reign.  Leon is a member of the Canadian Women’s National Team and participated in the 2019 FIFA World Cup in France.  She started her collegiate career at the University of Notre Dame where she won the 2010 NCAA National Championship as a freshman.  Leon scored the single goal of the tournament title game when the Irish beat Stanford University 1-0.  Her sophomore year, she was Notre Dame’s second leading scorer.  She then transferred to the University of Florida where she played an instrumental role in the Gators winning the 2012 SEC regular season and tournament championship.
