Former NHL Player | Head Coach
Scott Gordon is a former hockey player and current AHL coach with experience at a number of different levels. After playing at Boston College, Gordon had a brief career as a goalie with the Quebec Nordiques. Gordon also had the opportunity to play on the 1992 U.S.A. Olympic Team. After his career, Gordon bounced around the AHL as a coach before a wildly successful 8-year stint with the Providence Bruins from 2000-2008. Gordon then moved to the NHL where he was the New York Islanders Head Coach from 2008-2011 and an assistant coach for the Toronto Maple Leafs from 2011-2014. Gordon is currently the head coach of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
