One of the all-time Patriots greats, Gino “Duke” Cappelletti was among the most versatile players ever to play professional football.  The leading scorer in American Football League history, he played numerous positions well and earned a place in the Patriots Hall of Fame and his #20 retired by the team.  After his playing career ended, Cappelletti remained involved with the team as the Patriots’ radio color commentator until July 2012.  Cappelletti died on May 12, 2022, at the age of 88.
