Jason Varitek
2x World Series Champion | Red Sox Hall of Famer
Jason Varitek played his entire fourteen (14) year career with the Boston Red Sox. The 3x All-Star, Gold Glove winner and Silver Slugger catcher helped the Sox win the 2004 and 2007 World Series. In 2004, "Tek" became the fourth captain of the Red Sox. Varitek caught an MLB-record four no-hitters and is one of the only three players to have played in the Little League World Series, College World Series and Major League World Series. After retiring in 2011, Jason was named special assistant to then general manager of the Red Sox, Ben Cherrington, and was inducted into the Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame in 2016. Varitek is currently the Special Assistant to the President of Baseball Operations, Chaim Bloom.
