Drafted in the 4th round by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1988, Mark Recchi played 1,652 games for seven (7) different teams. A three (3) time Stanley Cup Champion, Recchi won championships with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1991, the Carolina Hurricanes in 2006, and the Boston Bruins in 2011. The seven (7) time All-Star set a Flyers franchise record with 123 points in the 1992 season and finished third in scoring during the 1999 season. After his retirement, Recchi was the Player Development Coach for the Pittsburgh Penguins where he won two (2) more Stanley Cups (2016 and 2017), was named to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2017, and has been the Assistant Coach of the Columbus Blue Jackets since September 2023.
