Adam Graves is a Canadian former professional hockey player known for his leadership, grit, and heart both on and off the ice. With a career that spanned from 1987 to 2003, Graves played over 1,100 NHL games and made a lasting impact on every team he suited up for. During his career, he played for the Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers, San Jose Sharks, and is best known for his 10 standout seasons with the New York Rangers.
Graves became a fan favorite at Madison Square Garden, known for his physical style of play, offensive production, and unwavering dedication to his team. He played a key role in the Rangers’ historic 1994 Stanley Cup Championship, their first in 54 years. His number 9 jersey was retired by the Rangers in 2009, a testament to his impact both as a player and person.
Currently, Graves serves as the Special Assistant for Prospect Development and Community Relations for the New York Rangers.
