Dan Koppen was selected in the fifth round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots.  In Koppen’s first two seasons with the team the Patriots won two Super Bowls.  His best season came in 2007 where he did not allow a single sack, was voted to the Pro Bowl, Second-team All-Pro and helped guide the Patriots to a 16-0 regular season record.  Koppen announced his NFL retirement following the 2013 season and was hired as an analyst for NBC Sports Boston.  In 2014, Koppen was hired as assistant football coach at Bishop Hendricken High School.  In 2018, he opened Linesider Brewery in Rhode Island.
