Rob Kearney

Professional Strongman

Rob Kearney placed first in the 2013 Strongman Corporation Nationals' Amateur National Championship where he earned his professional Strongman card.  Kearney advanced his global Strongman career while pursuing his bachelor's and master's degrees in athletic training.  In 2016 he placed first in the Strongman Champions League Log Lift and in 2019 took home the Arnold Pro Strongman Competition.  As of June 2020, Rob set a new American Log Lift record with a 475.75 pound press (he held the previous record of 471 pounds). Additionally, in September of 2020 Rob won the Official Strongman Pound for Pound competition, making him the strongest man in the world! After coming out gay in 2014, Kearney is the only openly gay Strongman in the world and serves as a gay rights advocate and role model in the sports community.
