Don Sweeney
Bruins General Manager and Former NHL Player
Don Sweeney currently serves as the General Manager for the Boston Bruins. Sweeney was promoted to this position after serving for six (6) years as the Assistant General Manager. As a player, Sweeney played over 1,100 games as a defenseman in 16 NHL seasons, 15 of which were with the Bruins. He currently ranks fourth all-time in games played in Bruins’ history. He was recognized as the NHL’s General Manager of the Year in 2019.
