Steve Sweeney

Steve Sweeney was a part of a group of aspiring comedians which included Lenny Clarke and Jay Leno that got their starts at the Ding-Ho restaurant in Cambridge in the early 1970s. Sweeney was one of the first comedians to venture into television with a starring role in the sitcom “Park Street Under.” He continued to make television appearances on “The Tonight Show” and “Letterman” as well as being a popular morning radio host on 100.7 WZLX – Boston. In 2005, Sweeney and friend Dick Doherty opened the Steve Sweeney Comedy Den in Quincy, which is still hosting comedy shows today.. Currently, Sweeney is the co-host for the mid-day show, Sweeney and Malone, with Joe Malone on Boston Herald Radio and also is a guest judge on New England’s talent show “Community Auditions.”
