Keith Primeau
Former NHL Player
Keith Primeau was drafted third overall to the Detroit Red Wings after two (2) years in the OHL with the Niagara Falls Thunder. The two (2) time NHL All-Star had his best seasons with the Hartford Whalers/Carolina Hurricanes franchise and the Philadelphia Flyers. In his first season with the Flyers, Primeau was the leading goal scorer and was named Captain in his second season with the organization. In 2005, he was forced to retire from the NHL due to recurring post-concussion syndrome.
After retirement from the NHL, Primeau still remained involved in the sport of hockey. He was the special assistant to the general manager and director of player development for the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL. He is now the assistant coach at Bishop Eustace Preparatory School and owns Bain’s Deli in Philadelphia, NJ.
