Lenny Dinardo
World Series Champion &
NESN Baseball Analyst
Lenny DiNardo is a former Major League Baseball pitcher, World Series champion, broadcaster and musician. His combination of playing experience, baseball knowledge and personality has made him a familiar presence to Red Sox fans both on the field and in the studio.
The New York Mets selected DiNardo in the third round of the 2001 MLB Draft following his collegiate career at Stetson University. The Boston Red Sox acquired him before the 2004 season, and he became a member of the team that captured Boston’s first World Series championship in 86 years. DiNardo subsequently pitched for the Oakland Athletics and Kansas City Royals and continued his career in professional and independent baseball.
Internationally, DiNardo represented Italy in multiple World Baseball Classic tournaments. His participation reflected his Italian heritage and gave him the opportunity to compete on one of baseball’s largest international stages.
After his playing career, DiNardo transitioned into broadcasting and currently serves as a baseball analyst for NESN. Away from baseball, he is an accomplished musician who has performed and recorded with fellow players, including Bronson Arroyo and Johnny Damon.
DiNardo’s championship background, broadcasting experience and musical interests give him an easy rapport with live audiences. He is a natural fit for corporate appearances, charitable programs, baseball events, panel discussions and emcee roles requiring knowledgeable analysis, humor and engaging behind-the-scenes stories.
