Ted Donato
Former NHL Player | Head Coach - Harvard University Men's Ice Hockey
Ted Donato played in the NHL as a left winger for thirteen (13) years for several contending teams. After playing in over 750 career NHL games and scoring 150 goals, Donato retired in 2004. After his retirement, Donato became the men’s ice hockey head coach for his alma mater, Harvard University. As he enters into his 16th season as head coach, Donato has brought Harvard to three (3) Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship wins, six (6) NCAA Tournament appearances and one (1) Frozen Four appearance. Ted’s son Ryan followed in his footsteps into the NHL and currently plays for the Minnesota Wild.
