Mike Timlin

Mike Timlin is an 18-year MLB veteran who had a pivotal role out of the bullpen for 4 World Series winning teams. Timlin recorded the final out of the 1992 World Series for the Toronto Blue Jays. Timlin did not allow a run during the 2003 postseason for the Boston Red Sox despite their ALCS loss to the New York Yankees. The following year, Timlin continued to pitch at a high level and helped lead the Red Sox to their first World Series title in 86 years. Timlin was also a part of the 2007 World Series team that rolled through the playoffs and swept the Colorado Rockies. In 2007, Timlin was awarded with the Lou Gehrig Memorial Award, which is awarded annually to an MLB player who has made exemplary contributions to their community. Timlin had the honor of being inducted into the 2010 Hall of Fame class at Southwestern University, his alma mater.
