Travis Shaw
Former Professional Baseball Player
In his eight seasons in the MLB, Travis Shaw had steady growth and success in every season. Shaw made an impact during his time with the Boston Red Sox after his mid-season call up in 2015 and earned himself the starting third base job the following season. Nicknames “Mayor of Ding Dong City,” Shaw is known for his work ethic which turned him into a reliable defender at the corner infield positions and a constant threat at the plate. Shaw is the son of former MLB star Jeff Shaw who was a two-time All-Star during his 12 year MLB career. Shaw was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers in 2016 and signed with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2019 before rejoining the Red Sox during the 2021 season. In January of 2023, Travis Shaw announced his retirement from the MLB. Travis and his wife Lindy welcomed their first child together in 2017.
