Trenni (Kusnierek) Casey

Sports Anchor

Trenni Casey was born on April 30, 1977.  She graduated from Muskego High School in Muskego, Wisconsin. 

Trenni attended Marquette University and graduated in 1999 with a degree in Broadcast & Electronic Communications.  She began her career as an associate producer and assignment editor at WISN-Milwaukee and continued to work at the local level until 2008, including WDJT-TV, FSN Pittsburgh, and FSN Wisconsin.  Trenni has worked as a reporter, host, and anchor at the national level for the NFL Network, the Big Ten Network, and the MLB Network.  She has also been a co-host on sports radio shows and podcasts.  Her news coverage has spanned over Boston’s four major sports: football, baseball, basketball, and hockey.  She has also covered the Super Bowl, the World Series, national championship games, and PGA majors. Casey was hired by NBC Sports to work as a curling reporter during the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics, and also covered tennis for NBC Sports at the 2016 Summer Olympics.  Trenni is currently a sports studio anchor and Red Sox and Patriots reporter for NBC Sports Boston.  

In addition to her professional success, Trenni has also climbed Mount Rainier and raced in several marathons.  She uses her platform to travel around the New England area to encourage discussion with students and professionals about mental illness, including her personal experience with anxiety and depression.  She resides in the Greater Boston Area.
