Former Professional Football Player

Benjamin Watson was in the NFL for 16 years and played for four different teams. Drafted in 2004 by the New England Patriots, Watson had his best seasons in 2007 where his six (6) touchdowns helped the Patriots go 16-0 in the regular season and in 2010 with the Cleveland Browns, when he led the team in receiving touchdowns, receptions, and yards.  He was a member of the 2004 Patriots that defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl.  Watson was awarded the Bart Starr award in 2018 and currently serves as a college football studio analyst for the SEC Network of ESPN. Outside of football, Watson and his wife share seven children together. In 2015, Watson authored a book Under Our Skin: Getting Real About Race - And Getting Free From the Fears and Frustrations That Divide Us.
