Chris Nowinski

Chris Nowinski is a former Harvard football player and WWE professional wrestler who was forced to retire early due to concussions. After returning, Nowinski co-founded the Concussion Legacy Foundation, formerly Sports Legacy Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to solving the sports concussion crisis. Nowinski has also authored a book, Head Games: Football’s Concussion Crisis and was named a 2011 Eisenhower Fellow. Nowinski is a co-founder of Boston University’s CTE Center and has become a leading expert on concussions and CTE.
