Affectionately known as “Youk,” Kevin Youkilis was a great baseball player and a huge part of the Red Sox dominance for most of his 10-year career. Youkilis was a three-time All-Star who won the 2008 Hank Aaron Award after hitting .312 with 29 home runs and 115 runs batted in. Youkilis was also a solid defender who could play either first or third base and won a Gold Glove Award in 2007. He helped the Red Sox to championships in 2004 and 2007. Youkilis currently works as a special assistant to the Chicago Cubs and his former general manager, Theo Epstein. He opened Loma Brewing Company, a brewpub in California in 2016, and was inducted into the Red Sox Hall of Fame in 2018.
